A lonely old woman hires the services of a dance teacher to learn ballroom dancing at home in six weeks.
To her dismay, the teacher who shows up is an arrogant and pushy New Yorker.
Their relationship starts off on the wrong foot, but everything quickly turns around and the pair discover that most of what they have in common is the different and the controversial.
