Play of the Year at the 2021 Theatronetto Festival
A tour guide who takes Israeli high school students to the death camps in Poland is summoned to a hearing before chairman of the board of Yad Vashem, where he reveals his unending struggle for memory.
In the death camps, which have become part of his routine existence, he meets various characters who awaken his inner voices and moral dilemmas, ultimately giving birth to the Memory Monster.
Unable to stop himself, he spirals downward into an inner abyss and discovers the bitter truth hidden within us all: that in order to survive in this world, everyone has to be something of a Nazi.
